For Every Version of Mum

Opening: Break The Myth
Motherhood doesn’t come in one shape.
It isn’t always soft lighting and matching outfits.
It isn’t always calm.
It isn’t always uncomplicated.
Sometimes it’s loud.
Sometimes it’s layered.
Sometimes it’s beautifully messy.
And sometimes it’s all of that before 9am.
This Mother’s Day, we didn’t want to design something for one version of mum.
We wanted to honour all of them.
For The Overstimulated Mum
The one with 47 tabs open.
School admin.
Work deadlines.
Birthday presents.
Mental lists that never end.
She loves deeply.
She just doesn’t switch off.
Overstimulated.
Not as a complaint.
As recognition.
For The Mum Who Needs Quiet
The one who sometimes says “No Chat.”
Not because she doesn’t care.
But because she’s poured from her cup all day.
She deserves space.
She deserves stillness.
No Chat.
A boundary, not a rejection.
For The Complicated Mum
Blended families.
Step-mums.
Bonus mums.
Single mums.
The ones navigating change.
Motherhood doesn’t always fit into a neat category.
It’s Complicated.
And that’s allowed.
For The Mum Choosing Presence
The one trying to step back from the noise.
Choosing real life over notifications.
Conversations over scrolling.
Offline.
Because being present is powerful.
There isn’t one way to be a mum.
There isn’t one story.
There isn’t one shape.
This edit isn’t about perfection.
It’s about recognition.
Mother’s Day. But honest.
